In this podcast format, Stefan Klingsöhr, Managing Director of the Klingsöhr Group, invites experts, decision-makers and colleagues from the real estate industry to talk. There are enough topics and contents to debate and talk about. In times of climate protection targets, structural change, pandemic, inflation, interest rate turnaround, Russia's war in Ukraine and supply bottlenecks, the industry is more on the move than it has been for decades. 11. Juni 2020

PODCAST WITH EIKE BECKER AND STEFAN KLINGSÖHR: "LIVING AND WORKING IN THE CITY OF THE FUTURE"

Is it logical and correct that 22 percent of Berlin is taken up by traffic areas? Should cities become greener than they are today? And what are the possibilities on the way there - but also what are the logical limits? Questions like these are worth asking openly so that our urban living space can become healthier and more climate-friendly, while of course the economy and mobility must not be neglected. In the PB3C podcast discussion with the architect Eike Becker, Stefan Klingsöhr argues against a confrontation of the individual types of use: in order to strengthen the bicycle, it is not necessary to banish the car from the city. Instead, the urban space of the future - like the office of the future - should be more flexible and more strongly oriented to the needs of people.

Podcast with Stefan Klingsöhr

The Corona pandemic has put half the world on hold. But even if there are many uncertainties about the economic development in the coming months: Standstill would be the wrong strategy, argues Stefan Klingsöhr in the Podcast discussion with Dr. Josef Girshovich of the consultancy firm PB3C. Rather entrepreneurs should use the apparent calm to prepare themselves concentrated on new projects and impulses. As in every crisis, the time just before the slump is often the worst time for an investment. The market shakeouts of the near future - which will undoubtedly come - can therefore also be a means for a recovery of the market. And those who did solid business during the boom and are now fine-tuning their concept may be able to get off to a better start.

Stefan Klingsöhr comments on Corona consequences in the Immobilien Zeitung

Real estate lives longer - and this is exactly what the industry is benefiting from in the Corona crisis. Stefan Klingsöhr comes to this conclusion in a guest commentary for the Immobilien Zeitung. After all, new buildings and renovations have to be carefully planned and prepared, take their time and are literally set in stone for decades - and that is precisely why the partial standstill of the economy does not affect players such as builders, project developers and architects as much as companies from more short-lived sectors. Why it is nevertheless important not to lapse into a state of shock and why the right course should be set now for the time after the epidemic can be read in the IZ commentary of 23 April 2020.
